Oct. 25, 2013 : Thanks to Warren, Barbara and all the staff for making our honeymoon fantastic! With the restaurant recommendations, the lovely room with the best view of the quarter, the front office chats over coffee; they all made us feel so much at home, we didn't want to leave.....so we extended our trip by 3 nights which they accommodated us for as well! Prepare to see us soon, we are already talking about our next trip!

Oct. 14, 2013 : Hotel Villa Convento is continuously my favorite place to stay in the French Quarter. The staff is amazing and they'll become your new friends just like Villa Convento will become your home away from home. The hotel is charming and an old mansion. The staff constantly gives you great food selections and ways to make New Orleans a more personal experience. The location is amazing and a quick walk to the quiet end of Bourbon street, literally a block from the French Market and Catty corner to the Ursuline convent. It is a quiet retreat with all the charm of the French quarter. I've stayed multiple times at the hotel and have had some "haunted" moments. They're fun and add a bit of ambience. Honestly, what place in New Orleans isn't haunted. So all in all my favorite place!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE every piece of it!!!

Sep. 23, 2013 : This hotel was perfect for my friend and I. We went for a little getaway trip and we had a wonderfully relaxing time anytime we were in the room/hotel. We got so so so lucky with this hotel. Our room wasn't "haunted" but we were sleeping so well that it would have been hard to wake us. We will most certainly go back and room 103 was so great. I have stayed at every kind of hotel there is and these with quaint personality and a staff that's close to the property are my favorite. We both took 2 baths a day just because it was so relaxing. We felt like we had a little piece of NOLA to go home to each night. It's far enough from Bourbon street to be silent, but close enough to pop on over for some fun! We highly suggest it, and can't wait to go back. And, across the street is a French bakery with some tasty treats! If you're over the cajun after a few days pop in and get the soup of the day or the ham croissant sandwich. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Thanks so much everyone at Villa Convento for making it home for us!
